Collaborative Editing
What is Collaborative Editing?
Collaborative editing allows multiple users to edit the same tournament bracket, league table, or Swiss draw. The owner of a bracket can generate an edit link and share it with others. Users who open the link gain edit access.
Enabling Collaborative Editing
Open the edit screen for your bracket or table, go to the Share tab, and turn on the Collaborative Editing toggle. A shareable edit link will be generated automatically. Note: You must save the bracket at least once before enabling collaborative editing.
Sharing the Edit Link
Once collaborative editing is enabled, copy the edit link and share it with the people you want to invite. Anyone with the link can join as an editor by opening it in their browser.
Joining a Collaboration
When you open an edit link shared with you, you will be added as a collaborator and redirected to the edit page. You need to be logged in to join. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to log in first.
Managing Collaborators
The owner can view the list of collaborators in the Share tab of the edit screen. To remove a collaborator, click the Remove button next to their name. Disabling collaborative editing will remove all collaborators and invalidate the edit link.
Leaving a Collaboration
If you are a collaborator and want to leave, open the detail page of the bracket or table and click the Leave button. A confirmation dialog will appear. After leaving, you will lose edit access.
Important Notes
- Up to 10 collaborators can be added per bracket or table.
- Only the owner can delete the bracket or table. Collaborators cannot delete it.
- Only the owner can enable/disable collaborative editing and manage collaborators.
- Collaborative editing is available for all formats: tournaments, leagues, Swiss draws, and double eliminations.
